Office clearances for moves, refits and closures

We clear offices of every size across London and the South East. That includes a few unwanted desks, a full floor before a refit, or a whole building at the end of a lease. Small clearances can be booked online from £72 + VAT. For larger or multi-floor jobs, we quote based on volume, access and timing.

Office clearances create several waste streams, and each one has its own duty-of-care rules. We separate furniture, mixed waste, electrical equipment and paper so they can be reused, recycled or recovered. Every collection comes with a waste transfer note for your records.

We work with office managers, facilities teams, landlords, dilapidations contractors and businesses moving premises. Collections can be planned around your working day to keep disruption to a minimum.

General office waste collection in London
What we clear

Everything an office leaves behind

Furniture

Desks, office chairs, pedestals, filing cabinets, meeting tables, partitions and storage.

IT & electricals (WEEE)

Monitors, PCs, printers, phones, cabling and kitchen appliances, sent to specialist WEEE recycling.

Confidential paper

Archive boxes and files collected for secure shredding. This can be combined with the clearance.

General & refit waste

Bagged waste, cardboard, carpet tiles and light strip-out waste.

Office clearance checklist

  1. List what's going, and tag anything that must stay.
  2. Back up and wipe devices, or ask us about data-bearing equipment before collection.
  3. Separate confidential paper so it goes for shredding, not general recycling.
  4. Check building access: loading bay, lift bookings, parking and permitted hours. Include these in the booking notes.
  5. Keep the waste transfer note with your records as proof of duty of care.

How it works

How to book your office clearance

1. Get a price online

Choose a load size or pick individual items. You see the full price, including VAT, before you pay. No call-out visit is needed.

2. Pick a date

Weekday collections are available from the next day. Saturday and Sunday need at least 48 hours notice. You can add a two-hour arrival window for a small fee.

3. We load everything

Our team carries everything out and loads it. Each load includes 30 minutes of labour and a 200kg weight allowance.

4. Sorted, not dumped

Waste is sorted for reuse and recycling, keeping it out of landfill. You get a waste transfer note for your records.

What we can't take

For safety and legal reasons, our standard collections can't include:

  • Asbestos, chemicals and other toxic or hazardous materials
  • Explosives, flammable materials and gas bottles
  • Clinical waste and sharps (see our medical waste service)
  • Radioactive materials
  • Fridges or freezers with refrigerant that hasn't been properly decommissioned. Book domestic fridges as a priced item.

Full details are in our terms & conditions.

Why use a licensed waste carrier?

In England, householders and businesses have a legal duty of care to give their waste only to a registered waste carrier. If an unlicensed "man with a van" fly-tips your rubbish, you can be fined. Every London Waste Clearance collection comes with a waste transfer note, so you have proof your waste was handled legally.
